Hongik University is known for it’s arts department, which means the area is filled with indie designers in the area. Every Saturday From 1 PM to 6 PM, they come together at the Children’s Park to sell their products.
Here you will find unique designs, that you can’t find anywhere else in the world. All made by locals to Hongdae, and locals to Seoul.
Hongdae free market only creative items, which means no used items are sold there.
If you have a designer hidden inside you, you can even join the market and sell your items at the market. The market is also known as, the most tourist friendly market in Korea.
So be sure to visit the Free market, open every Saturday from March to November.
