떡볶이 (tteokbokki)
Tteokbokki is one of the most popular street foods in Korea, but is also served at many restaurants. Also known as spicy rice cakes, you can find this dish anywhere in Korea.
But if you want to try a variant, that even many Koreans can’t eat due to its spiciness. You should visit Dongdaemun Yyeopgi Tteokbokki, with locations all over the country.

닭발 (Chicken feet)
Chicken feet might sound off-putting, but in Korea it’s eaten by many. Popular among Asian countries, however Korea made it different by making it super spicy. Even if you can get past the chicken talons scraping in your mouth, you will still have to get past the second hurdle which is the extreme spiciness of the dish.
To try one of the spiciest places in Seoul, you should visit Hansin Pocha. Located close to Sinnonhyeon station, which you can reach via line 9.

짬뽕 (Jjamppong)
Jjamppong is a Chinese-Korean fusion dish, it’s already known as a spicy dish. And can be found at many Korean restaurants, containing noodles and seafood bathed in red spicy sauce.
There’s a place in Seoul which has been featured, on several Korean tv shows for their spicy jjamppong. They even have a sign outside, with a monthly count of the number of people that have fainted after eating it.

비빔냉면 (Bibim Naengmyun)
Cold noodles is a very popular dish during the summer in Korea, as many likes to cool down with a bowl of ice cold noodles. Though water naengmyun is the more popular cold noodles dish, bibim naengmyun is a waterless variant which is not that spicy.
Though Haeju Naengmyun has made a variant, which can bring tears to your eyes.
