The entertainment center of Busan; Seomyeon is within walking distance! Public transportation is just a short walk away, making travel around Busan’s famous areas very convenient ^^
The Space
We try to keep a cozy, friendly atmosphere here, so our 1st floor is open 24/7 to guests! (We do have CCTV, so don’t worry about security!)
We don’t have a restauraunt or cafe here, but we do have a kitchen and common area! All Korean delivery applications are possible here, since we are so near downtown ^^
If you have an open mind and an open heart, come hang out and join us making fun, unique memories! ^^

Our guesthouse has a friendly and open atmosphere. As such, our main door, luggage room, and common area is open to our guests 24/7 ^^
As we are close to downtown, a lot of our guests of various nationalities are down to meet others and go party in the nearby entertainment area ^^
Our kitchen, (equipped with common refrigerator, induction stove, water purifier, and basic cooking tools) is always open to our guests ^^
Shopping for ingredients is really convenient with both Home Plus and Emart nearby! As we are close to downtown, everything is available with delivery through various apps if you have them! ^^

- Self-check-in procedure If you request self-check in, we will send you a text message to either your phone number or through messaging after 16:00 on the day of your check-in. >The text contains your room number, passcode, and our house and room rules. >You are free to enter your room any time you would like after you receive your self-check in message! Please be quiet in the hallways after 23:00!
- We provide shampoo, body wash, hand soap in your bathroom, and hair dryer in the room. (We are just a humble guesthouse~ don't expect too much ^^! If you would like to use a certain product, please bring your own~)
- There are no towels inside the room! Please take towels on 1st floor in the common area in front of reception. Please use only one at a time ㅠㅠ, and return in the basket in front of reception! Let's be considerate to our guests and staff and follow the rules ㅠㅠ
- Because you have your own room, you have the freedom to eat inside your room ^^ Please be careful to not spill on our very white sheets ㅠㅠ.
- Inside your room is a guide to adjust the temperature of your room with the air conditioner/heater!
- WI-FI is available in all rooms (PW: 23456789)

a week agoI had a fantastic stay at Kimchee Busan Downtown Guesthouse! The dorms were very comfortable, and the cleanliness was impressive, especially in the toilets, which were always spotless. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. They went out of their way to assist with anything we needed, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. One of the highlights was meeting fellow travelers from around the world; it was a great spot for connecting with people and sharing experiences. The location is another plus, as it’s conveniently close to Beomnaegol Metro Station, making it easy to explore Busan. Overall, I’d highly recommend this guesthouse for anyone looking for a clean, friendly, and well-located place to stay in Busan!

a month agoThis has more of a youth hostel vibe than a guesthouse :) I was super skeptical at first because of past reviews, but honestly for the price, it is very good. Of course, my dorm was not 5-star, but the bed was comfortable, and my bedmates (mixed dorms) were in extremely polite and considerate! I've slept very well. I've stayed in other "better" guesthouses where people were being super inconsiderate after 11pm. The bathrooms and showers were pristine when I was there. Staff were super nice!

3 months agoThis hostel is fine for the price. There are no curtains on the beds, and no surfaces or places to put your things except for the locker, which is pretty small. It wouldn't fit most suitcases. So, it's hard to unpack. But the location is good, the bathrooms are clean, and there is a lounge and kitchen open 24/7. So the bunks are fine for a few days, if you are traveling light. If you are staying longer, I'd get a nicer hostel.

2 months agoDisappointed, the room is not clean, the shared toilets even less, and does not respond to messages. Great if you want to hear neighbors conversations at 3am. Move on there are better hostels nearby

a month agoOur room was not cleaned before we got in. Bed sheets were full of hairs and the trash was not emptied. Communal space was also not clean; toilet smelled als fridge was dirty. There were also only male toilets/showers on my floor.
