If you happen to stick around Seoul in the summer, you can bring your gang to one of the most famous pool party in Seoul at Banyan Tree Hotel. Every year, this five-star hotel offers cool and exciting parties on every weekend during the summer with K-pop idol performances and fabulous pool experience. This year Oasis pool party starts from July 5 to Sep 7 on every Fridays and Saturdays. The parties will be held by the glamorous pools of Banyan Tree hotel. There are DJ’s performances together with Korean top celebrities. For each person, you will be offered 3 free beers and a big towel, with a small souvenir. The party starts from 8pm to 1am with several performances on stage. You can go around taking gorgeous pictures with the photobooths or the pools, or immerse your body in the warm pool water and dance with your group in front of the stage. The colorful lightings create a mysterious and romantic atmosphere while fancy corners of Banyan Tree hotel can be the best background for your top photographs. There are some tips you should know before joining this party.

Don’t come too early! – Guests are only allowed to enter from 8pm so if you come too early, you will have to wait outside in a long line.
Security check – There is a security check before you get inside and they will take away all of your edible stuff (including drinks, snacks, supplements and any sort of pills) and none will be returned. Therefore, it is better not to bring any of those above.
No need slippers or swim caps – Unlike other public pools in Seoul, you can get away with no swim cap and slippers. Even slippers are recommended on the ticket, I saw many girls with high heels. So if you want to show your long legs, high heels are allowed. However, for your own safety since it is slippery around the pool, maybe you would want to bring a pair of slippers just in case you want to dance and walk around comfortably.
Lockers are expensive and usually not available! – Since there are many people and only a small amount of lockers available, the price would be 20,000won for one locker and they are always taken by someone who is early enough. Therefore, I recommend to bring waterproof bags and phone pouches to keep your belongings with you.
It is cold after you get out of the pool! – Even though you might think it is ok to wear a swim suit all night during hot summer, it is actually cold after you get out of the water and walk around (which you have to do a lot to get your drinks or go to the bath room). Therefore, having a big towel (provided by the hotel) or something to cover you when getting out of the pool is necessary.
There is no finger food – There is a buffet served by the party but it is charged, so it is better to have food before the party.
